Have you ever started a new Microsoft Office Word (or the Excel and PowerPoint file) and been getting pretty far along when you accidentally close the document before saving it (or lose power and the computer shuts down, etc.)? Here is a helpful little tip which I summarize for any of you out there that happen to find yourself in the situation.
Take this tips, keep in mind and try to success in Mac Word recovery. In my case, I was building a Word file and went to go delete a picture of the five which I put in the Word file and just after I clicked the “confirm” box, realized I just confirmed to close my whole Word without saving it, not just to delete my single picture. Of course I can put the picture inside it again.

But I only got the only one copy of this picture and I just deleted it and clean up the Trash Bin, (Take this note: Build a backup for all of your files is necessary no matter how self-confident to promise you will not lose any of your files you are.) I know what you may say, I know, I know Save, save, save as you go. (In the point 5 I talk about the problem just happened like this problem.) Usually I do but today I didn’t.
Actually you can save your Word like before my using the normal way or depend on the data recovery tools. Now let’s check out the normal way first.
Solution for Performing Mac Word Recovery Microsoft Office has a fantastic feature built in where it can help you in Mac Word document Recovery such as save the unsaved files (just in case you do what I did)! In the left pane, under devices, choose the entire computer as the location to search. Enter “AutoRecovery” in the text field next to the “Searchlight” icon in the upper right corner of the window.
Select the file you want from the list of files returned by the search. The names of auto-recovered files begin with “AutoRecovery save of” followed by the same name as the Word document that was lost. Click on the file and drag it out of the search window and onto the desktop. Close the Finder window. Double-click on the recovered file on your desktop to launch Microsoft Word and display the file on the screen. Click on the “File” menu. Select “Save As” from the drop-down menu.
Type a new name for the file into the “Name” field at the top of the dialog box that appears on the screen. Select “Desktop” or some other location to store your file from the “Locations” drop-down menu in the center of the dialog box. Click the “Save” button. This is the steps what you need to finish the Mac Word recovery task.
But what if this normal ways does not work? I think you may need the data recovery tools to help you a lot. In the next passage I will show you how to use a tool to get back the unsaved or deleted.
